To redress the political balance, here is a snap of the other Friday paper that comes into the household for regular Shabbat reading: Haaretz. As well as the main and supplementary section, it comes with the International Herald Tribune, an events magazine (The Guide) and its own magazine. I abhor much of the political journalism of Haaretz, but Susan likes to have it for Shabbat. If I read it, it’s because an early political (and life) lesson was: know your enemy. Draw your own conclusions.
Meantime, Shabbat Shalom!
